Legal, privacy and your data choices

loovo runs on data retailers already own. These pages explain how we handle it, the terms of using loovo, and how to exercise your choices. This summary is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.

Privacy policy

How loovo collects, uses and protects data when a retailer connects their merchant systems to a loovo workspace.

  • What we process: information a retailer connects from their own systems, including store, loyalty, customer data, point of sale and messaging tools, plus behavioural signals generated as shoppers browse and buy.
  • Why we process it: to build shopper personas, detect engagement moments, generate campaigns and measure attributed revenue for the retailer who owns the data.
  • Our role: loovo acts as a processor on behalf of the retailer. The retailer remains the controller of their customer data and decides how loovo is used.
  • Retention and security: data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to what is required to run the service, and connected data can be disconnected or deleted on request.
  • No selling: loovo does not sell personal information and does not share it with advertising networks.

Terms of service

The commercial and usage terms that apply to a loovo workspace.

  • Access: loovo access is granted per workspace. Retailers are responsible for the users they invite and for keeping credentials secure.
  • Connections: retailers confirm they have the right to connect their systems and to message their own customers through their existing channels.
  • Autopilot and approvals: campaigns can run with approval or on autopilot. The retailer sets that mode and remains responsible for messages sent from their channels.
  • Fees: billing is a fixed monthly platform fee plus a share of attributed upside, measured with holdout-controlled lift, as set out on the pricing page.
  • Availability and changes: we work to keep the service available and will give notice of material changes to these terms or to the service.
  • Termination: either party may end the agreement with notice. On termination, connections are removed and data is deleted or returned on request.

Do not sell my data

loovo does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can still exercise your data choices at any time.

  • Shoppers: contact the retailer whose store you interacted with, or contact us and we will route your request to them as the controller of your data.
  • Retailers: you can disconnect any data source from your workspace and request deletion of the data it supplied.
  • Requests we honour: access, correction, deletion, and opting out of any future sale or sharing of personal information.
  • How to ask: use the contact form on our homepage and mention the request type. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
